CGI Transformer

I love the Transformers. They were one of my favorite toys as a child and the cartoon was a staple in my early tv viewing stages. Another movie is being created but it will be live action and CGI. Its slated for a July 4, 2007 release date and is being produced by DreamWorks and Paramount. This is pretty old news now and the official website is http://www.transformerslive.com/

Anyway, this post is for someone's home grown version of Optimus Prime from a story on digg.com (digg it here). This guy runs the website 3dblasphemy.com and is really talented. Check out the thread here. The screen shots are incredible and the animation is excellent. You'd think it came from a movie studio. This is a thread I'll be watching.
